On February 6, Julia, the Thymine family head, hosted Thymine Tie-mine Dye-mine Day where Thymine family members got to tie-dye t-shirts on a sunny day in Wilson Plaza!

On November 29, 2021, BMES members and faculty joined together in the Pauley Pavilion Club House to celebrate the holiday season with the annual BMES Holiday Party! This year's theme was The Polar Express. The night was an extraordinary adventure filled with a catered dinner, games, and photos with our BMES friends! On October 24, 2021, we had our annual KBBQ night at Bud Namu followed by dessert at Sul&Beans/SomiSomi in K-town! About 50 BMES members attended this event and we even had the entire patio reserved for us. It was a super fun outing with delicious food and wonderful friends! On Monday, October 11, 2021, we had our Career Fair Prep Workshop to prepare students for the upcoming Engineering Career Fair and the BMES Career Fair! We learned about ways to polish our resumes, build our LinkedIn profile, and craft an elevator pitch! The first part of this workshop was a virtual presentation with resume, LinkedIn, and elevator pitch tips and resources. This was followed by an in-person session for resume critiques, as pictured below. On Sunday, October 3, 2021, we had our first social event of the year, Fall BBQ! This event was a great opportunity for attendees to meet other BMES members while we all enjoyed delicious barbecued goods, vegetarian options, and snacks, played games such as water balloon toss, relay race, and telephone charades and found out which BMES family we were placed in! |
