On April 22nd-23rd 2023, we held the annual BMES BioHack! Congratulations to all the teams who designed and built incredible products this weekend!

On March 11th 2023, the four BMES families competed in the annual Bake-Off! Each family worked together to bake the most delicious dessert!  On March 10th 2023, the second Science Day of the school year was held with 5th graders from Valerio Street Elementary School! Students were able to participate in microscopy activities and a show at the planetarium!  On March 3rd 2023, BioE Ball: Y2K was held at the Kerchkoff Grand Salon! It was a fun night of throwbacks to the 2000's and 2010's including Just Dance!  On January 27th 2023, we had our annual BMES KBBQ night! Thank you to everyone who joined us for a night of delicious food in KTown!  On November 18th 2022, the annual BMES Holiday Party was held in Pauley Pavilion. It was a festive night of gingerbread making, Family Feud, and delicious dinners!  On October 17th 2022, our Industry chairs hosted the annual Biotech Career Fair in the Ackerman Grand Ballroom!  On October 12th 2022, we held a workshop on 3D computer-aided design (CAD) and 3D printing for 20 interested attendees! On October 4th, 2022, our industry chairs held an informational workshop to help members format their resume and LinkedIn profile for the upcoming Biotech Career Fair! On October 8th, 2022, we held the annual Fall BBQ at the Sunset Canyon Amphitheater Lawn! Attendees were able to meet other BMES members as well as their family for the year! We played games such as human knot and enjoyed a wonderful BBQ lunch prepared by the BMES board! |
