Who We Are
The UCLA Biomedical Engineering Society is a student organization comprised mainly of members majoring in fields within the UCLA Bioengineering Department. Membership is not restricted to students in the Bioengineering Department and we actively encourage all majors who have an interest in bioengineering to be a part of the Society. Being an active member of the Society will allow one to experience many opportunities to meet and network with professors and industry representatives in order to gain research or work experience. In addition, the Society provides a venue to meet fellow students and share academic concerns, as well as enjoy many organized social events.

The UCLA Biomedical Engineering Society is an organization open to all majors and was established to provide a forum for student discussion and collaboration, to promote academic and professional development of its members, and improve social bonds between fellow students.
