The Electrocardiogram (ECG) Build Team is a year-long project where first-year students are tasked with building their very own ECG from base materials. An ECG is a medical device that records the electrical activity of the heart and outputs the result as a series of waves on an oscilloscope. Students will learn concepts important in circuitry, learn how to read and write code for an Arduino™ device, and see the design and creation process of a medical device. Students need no prior experience in building medical devices.
*Note that the infosession will be split into two halves. The ECG Build Team will be discussed from 5:30pm to 6:30pm, and the competition build team will be discussed from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. You are welcome to attend only one or both parts of the infosession. See you there!
